Your adventure begins with an early departure from Nairobi, heading north on a scenic drive through Kenya's vibrant farmlands and charming small towns. Along the way, take in stunning views of Mount Kenya before arriving at the incredible OL Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya's most remarkable wildlife destinations.
Check in at the luxurious Sweetwaters Tented Camp, a sanctuary of comfort nestled in the heart of the conservancy. This unique camp combines the elegance of colonial-style accommodations with the untamed beauty of the African wilderness. Overlooking a bustling waterhole separated by an electric fence, the camp offers unparalleled opportunities to observe wildlife up close.
In the afternoon, embark on a special visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Established in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute, this sanctuary is home to over 30 rescued chimpanzees, many of whom were saved from the illegal pet trade.
As the sun begins to dip, enjoy a thrilling game drive through OL Pejeta Conservancy, which boasts Africa's highest wildlife-to-land ratio. Despite its compact size, the reserve is teeming with wildlife, offering unparalleled opportunities to spot the iconic Big Five and much more.
