OL Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, your African safari tour will begin. Your driver will collect you from Nairobi and drive towards OL Pejeta Conservancy, where you'll be staying for the next two nights at the exquisite 5-star Sweetwaters tented camp - my personal favorite in all of Africa.
The camp's restaurant overlooks a vast grassy area that borders a significant waterhole fenced with electricity. This water source is a popular drinking spot for a plethora of wildlife, including elephants, Cape buffalo, rhinoceros, zebra, warthog, giraffe, and crowned crane. With luck, you may even spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, or African wild dogs in this vicinity. Moreover, the camp's verdant grasslands are a haven for numerous bird species searching for insects.
After lunch embark on an afternoon game drive in search for Africa's big 5 (Lion, leopard, elephant, cape buffalo & rhinoceros) Many more of Africa's iconic animals are found here such as hyena, giraffe, gazelle, cheetah as well as over 400 species of bird.
You may wish to ask your driver to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary which opens daily at 4:00pm.
At 6:30pm return to Sweetwaters Tented camp to relax, watch animals come to the waterhole and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner.
