Ngorongoro Crater
Today your driver will collect you from either Arusha or Kilimanjaro. You'll make our way to the Ngorongoro crater, but not without making a few stops along the way.
Our first stop will be the African Art Gallery, a remarkable exhibition of souvenirs including paintings, wood and stone carvings, clothing, and more.
Our second stop will take us to the Tanzanite Museum, where we'll have the opportunity to learn about the mining of tanzanite in Tanzania and the process of making it into exquisite jewelry. You might even be tempted to purchase some souvenirs or a beautiful piece of tanzanite jewelry.
By mid-afternoon, we'll reach the Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge, where we'll enjoy a late lunch and check in to our charming cottage-style accommodation.
Overlooking the coffee plantation and Ngorongoro forest, the lodge provides a peaceful retreat for you to unwind and relax. You can spend the rest of the afternoon lounging by the pool or bar as you prepare for tomorrow's game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.
