Upon arrival at Kasane Airport I will be there to greet you with our driver. We will transfer nearby to Chobe Safari Lodge for check in.

Perched on the banks of the Chobe River in Kasane, Chobe Safari Lodge is one of those places that immediately makes you feel like you're in the heart of the wild. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with sweeping river views where elephants and hippos are often seen along the water's edge, while the lodge grounds themselves are alive with curious warthogs, playful vervet monkeys, cheeky mongoose, and a colourful array of birdlife. It's a place where nature is never more than a few steps away.

The lodge offers a variety of inviting accommodations, from thatched rondavels to spacious river-view rooms, all designed with comfort and African charm in mind. Guests can relax by the pool, sip a sundowner on the riverside deck, or enjoy hearty meals on the open terrace while watching the sun set over the water. With its unbeatable location, warm atmosphere, and the constant presence of wildlife, Chobe Safari Lodge is the perfect place to unwind between adventures and soak up the magic of Africa.

The afternoon is yours to relax, settle in, and soak up the atmosphere before the adventure begins. At 3:30pm, our safari vehicles will be waiting to whisk us into the legendary Chobe National Park—a wildlife paradise like no other. This first game drive promises to set the tone for the wild adventure that lies ahead.

Home to over 100,000 elephants—more than anywhere else in Africa— Chobe offers an unrivalled spectacle. As the heat of the day softens, elephants and countless other animals make their way down to the riverbanks. We'll journey along these waters, keeping our eyes peeled for vast herds of elephants, powerful Cape buffalo, and—if luck is on our side—the stealthy leopard or a pride of lions on the move.
